What’s holding the book back
The film does work the photos can’t.
Stock injector footage
Stock footage doesn’t sell premium.
Generic gloved-hand-holding-syringe shots blend you in with every other med-spa within ten miles. The premium ticket needs cinematic proof — the actual room, the actual hands, the actual outcome.
Before-and-afters
Before/after stills feel clinical.
Static images flatten the experience and read as medical, not aesthetic. A 30-second motion piece carries the texture, light, and tone the photo can’t.
Yelp gap
Yelp can’t show your suite.
Reviews convert price-shoppers. Brand films convert the patient who’s deciding whether your practice feels like the right place to spend $4K on a course of treatment.
Process narrative

Anchor case · placeholder still
Anchor — full process
One day on-site. Two weeks to delivery.
Pre-production locks the treatment story, the room, and the patient-consent choreography. Production is one day on a single suite — Maceo on camera, Katie producing on the floor, lighting kit in by 9, last setup wrapped by 5. Edit cycle runs two weeks: rough cut day five, founder review day eight, final delivery in 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 by day fourteen.
Short cut
Founder portrait — 90 seconds
A standalone film for the practice owner: who they are, what the suite stands for, and why the work matters. Cuts as a single hero piece for the homepage and as a 30 / 15 / 6-second paid cut.
Short cut
Treatment library
Five room-specific reels (one per signature treatment). Each runs as Instagram Reels, paid Meta creative, and an in-suite TV loop. Shot once, cut many.
From the practices
“The film paid for itself in the first week. We had three new patients book the day it went live on the homepage.”
“Maceo directs the shoot like a creative director, not a vendor. He came in with a point of view about the room and the brand we hadn’t articulated ourselves.”
Common questions
Before you book.
How long does a med-spa shoot take?
A standard treatment-room shoot is one production day on-site. We arrive at 8 AM, work around your patient schedule, and wrap by early evening. Pre-production and post are handled before and after.
Do we need to shut down the practice for the shoot?
No. We schedule around your appointment book — most shoots happen during normal hours with a single treatment room blocked. Patient consent for any visible faces is handled in pre-pro.
What does a med-spa film actually cost?
Project-based packages start in the $8K range for a single treatment-room reel; full brand campaigns with founder portrait + treatment library + paid-cut versions run $20K–$40K. Monthly retainers from $3,500. Pricing locked in the call, not over email.
How fast can you deliver?
A single reel can be shot, cut, and delivered in two weeks if your treatment schedule and approval cadence allows. Brand campaigns take 4–6 weeks from kickoff to delivery.
Will the footage work on Instagram, TikTok, and the website?
Yes. Every shoot is captured 6K and graded for delivery in 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 — your homepage hero, Instagram feed, Reels, TikTok, and YouTube pre-roll all run from the same shoot.
Do you work with med-spas outside Los Angeles?
Yes — we travel for projects. LA-area shoots have no travel costs; out-of-region adds standard travel and per-diems.
Who actually directs the shoot?
Maceo Brinkerhoff directs every SUNBREAK production. No bait-and-switch — the person you talk to on the call is the person on set.
